Vancouver, BC — Fox Fold, a Vancouver-based sustainability innovator, has raised US$5 million in Series A funding, exceeding its US$3 million target to accelerate the rollout of its refillable tissue dispensers for the hospitality industry.
The round was led by Burt and Alex Cabañas of Astound Ventures, renowned for leadership roles with Benchmark and Pyramid Global Hospitality, which operates over 230 hotels worldwide, as well as investors in Convene Hospitality Group.
Astound is solely focused on accelerating innovation in hospitality and adjacent service industries, such as Senior Living and Healthcare. Fox Fold is an astounding fit, helping hotels eliminate waste while improving bottom lines. We're proud to support these visionary founders.

Revolutionizing Hotel Sustainability
Hotels waste millions of partially used toilet rolls and facial tissue boxes every year. Fox Fold’s patented refillable dispensers eliminate that waste — cutting costs by up to 50% and supporting a zero-waste guest experience.
Since launch, Fox Fold has deployed 20,000+ dispensers in properties like Fairmont Austin and Ottawa, Marriott Victoria, Sheraton Portland, Nobu Toronto, W Seattle, 21C Louisville and hundreds more.
Funding Growth and Near-Shore Manufacturing
The raise supports Fox Fold’s rapid growth and will be used for inventory, staff, and expanded manufacturing capabilities at a near-shore facility.
Hotels are just the start, said Ludovic Siouffi, Co-Founder and CEO. Our goal is to lead the refillable revolution across every B2B and consumer vertical.
